Working in a creative industry gives us the opportunity to meet a wide range of individuals and businesses. It’s part of the job. Clients, like Step Up Speech & Language, walk into our offices with a variety of digital marketing needs and we find the solutions.
I’d like to introduce you to The Rise Up Academy and share a little bit about their commercial photography experience here at Established By Her. When developing a new business or pushing an existing one to a higher level, it’s likely you’ll have a long list of priority jobs to complete. I wonder, where is commercial photography on that list?
Today we hear from the lovely Holly Pender-Smith who works as a Virtual Assistant. She explains how a commercial photography shoot, also known as personal brand photography, shot over at our bright and naturally lit studio in the HQ Building, Plymouth, helped her business and brand achieve that vital professional look.
A Social Media Strategy: It’s a done for you service. Our clients all have one thing in common, they don’t have space for anything else in their schedule. These hard working people are so focused on what they do best, it’s almost impossible to invest time and energy into something like a social media strategy. So we do it for them. It’s a done for you service.
Healthy Stress – Vital Recovery Time. Have you ever read about those entrepreneurs that work for 80 hours per week. Does this sound appealing to you? Let’s just think about what that would entail. There are 168 hours in the week. Take away the obvious big thing which is sleep, and let’s be reasonable, 8 hours a day is probably not going to happen but 7, how does that sound? 168 (total hours) minus 49 (sleep) equals 119. 119 (remaining hours) minus 80 (working hours) equals 39. 39 divided by 7 (days) equals 5.5hours left per day.
Demystifying Terminology! There is no way to escape the use of terminology within the digital marketing world. Even saying the words “digital marketing” may produce an involuntary eye roll in many of you. I’m sorry about that. There are so many different services on offer that require a name. And when these services are put together, they become a strategy.
The Maker’s Story. Adding value to your Purchase. When you shop online do you research the company providing the products? You might say yes. As a society we have become more conscious about our carbon footprint, and the origin of our purchases. But realistically, on a whole, we seek out the desired product on our phones, while completing several other jobs like putting the kids to bed, we check out the reviews, then buy.
Why Done is better than Perfect. You might be tired of hearing this word, especially if you’ve been trying to implement a social media marketing strategy, with little success, but here it is again, ENGAGEMENT! Does it fill you with dread? It shouldn’t. We all like to be engaged don’t we? Engaged in conversation? When watching a movie, what happens when we become disengaged? We get bored.
